LIMERICK'S Willie O'Connor is enjoying another great run at the PDC's UK Open as he has stormed through to the last 16 so far today.
The Magpie has continued his good form to the start of this year with three big wins over the weekend in Minehead so far.
After seeing off England's Tom Sykes and Scott Williams in earlier rounds, O'Connor had an impressive 10-3 win over Mensur Suljovic in the last 32 today.
The win saw O'Connor average a superb 100.36 as he looks to go far into a competition he has done well at in the past.
He made it as far as the semi-finals in 2022 and will be looking to do something similar this year having progressed again into the latter stages.
There was heartbreak for Tipperary's Dylan Slevin, however, as he lost out in a last leg decider to Germany's Martin Schindler in the last 32.
