The Sunday Shoutout - Sean, Ronan, Adrian and Katie back to winning ways

THE best way to prove your mettle in any sport is to come back winning in the face of adversity.

Disappointment in darts is inevitable for all those playing at the top end of the game.

And so it was for the likes of Dublin's Sean McKeon and Donegal's Adrian 'Butch' Devine when they missed out on making the final stages of PDC Q School this week on leg difference.

Offaly's Ronan McDonagh will also have been hurting after he too failed to make it to the final stages.

However, all three have returned to their winning ways in Ireland before the weekend is even out.

Meanwhile, leading ladies player Katie Sheldon has also picked up another title after returning from what she described as a disappointing few days at the Modus Super Series, when she missed out on finals night.

After returning from Q School earlier than they would have hoped, Sean and Ronan teamed up to win the Men's Leinster doubles titles in Kilkenny on Friday night.

As they were busy doing that, Adrian Devine was picking up his latest win in the Donegal Grand Slam of of Darts on Saturday night.

On the same evening, Katie Sheldon was also crowned the Leinster Ladies champion to cap off a fine weekend so far for all four players.

Proving that you can't keep a good darts player down for long!
