IRISH darts star Conor Heneghan has created his own bit of history at the Modus Super Series by hitting this third nine dart finish in the competition.
The Mayo man has become the first player ever to hit a hat-trick of perfect legs on the Modus stage.
His latest heroics came in just Heneghan's second game of the day on the first day of Group A action.
Unfortunately for Heno he was hit by the nine-dart curse by actually going on to lose that game to Justin Heaver.
However he is still very much in contention in a tight group, sitting just two points off the top with two days still to play.
Heneghan began his day with an impressive whitewash win over Lukasch Waclowski of Poland.
Next came his game against Heaver in which Henaghan hit the nine darter in the fourth leg to tie the match at 2-2.
However Heaver would go on to win that game 4-2, wrapping it up with an impressive 11 dart leg of his own, before Heneghan was also defeated by Group A leader Steve Beaton,
Heneghan recovered from that in his next match against another legendary veteran in Richie Burnett, as he averaged a superb 101.63 in a 4-1 win.
He had the chance to be tied at the top of the group if he won his final game against David Evans, but came out on the wrong side of a 4-3 result.
It means Heneghan sits fourth in the six man group after the first day, but is still just two points adrift of Beaton in first place.
