AOIFE McCormack and Stephen Rosney have cemented their spots on the plane to South Korea for the WDF World Cup in September with wins in the Irish Singles in Galway last night.
With just one ranking event to go today, the teams that will represent the Republic of Ireland at the World Cup are starting to take shape.
Aoife, a World Cup winner with the Irish ladies team in 2023, will be looking for a repeat after her success last night ensured that both she and Donegal's Denise Cassidy will join Robyn Byrne and Katie Sheldon on the Irish team.
Following her run to the final of the Irish Classic on Friday night, Aoife went one better last night by winning the Irish Singles with a victory over Dublin's Celine McDonald.
McCormack had also earlier beaten Denise Cassidy in her semi-final, but that run to the last four has rubber-stamped Cassidy's place on the Irish ladies team too.
Meanwhile, in the men's Irish Singles on Saturday night, Irish team captain Stephen Rosney, who was also a beaten finalist in the Irish Classic, also went one better by winning it outright this time.
Offaly man Rosney came through some stiff tests to win, beating Donegal captain Cartha Boyle in his quarter final, WDF world champion Shane McGuirk in his semi-final, before overcoming his Ireland team-mate Dean Finn 6-4 in the final.
It all now means that Rosney, Finn and Donegal's Gerard McGlynn have secured their spots on the Ireland World Cup team, with Patrick Quinn, Shane McGuirk and Dale McCarthy battling it out today for the final fourth spot.
